It is accessible only by a coastal hike (approximately 35 to 45 minutes), with the easiest route starting from Saint-Fran\u00e7ois. The beach is a bright white sand between two imposing cliffs, making it feel like a truly personal discovery. At low tides, the swimming spot is clear and like a natural pool with marine life to explore. At high tides, it is often more rough as the reef is close.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Traveler Type:<\/strong> Adventurers, Hikers, Nature Lovers, Photography Lovers, Snorkeling<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Pro Tips:<\/strong> Wear comfortable shoes and pack sufficient water and food. It\u2019s a tiny beach, secluded and unmarked<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Traveler Focus:<\/strong> Explorers, Snorkeling, Nature Lovers<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Insider Tip:<\/strong> Plan your visit for low tides if you want to snorkel. The reef is nearby, same as Trou D&#8217;Argent so at low tides the swimming spot is clear and ideal for snorkeling. At high tides you can see some locals cliff jump but safety first.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Getting Around:<\/strong> Requires local knowledge or a guide, as it is largely unmarked.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br \/>\nSafety &amp; Tides<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Check the tides before going to the beaches on Rodrigues Island, especially if you are going to swim. For example, we like to swim in low tides at Anse Bouteille to snorkel and high tides at Pointe Coton to have a relaxing moment. It depends on your preferences.
