Trasmer Boating began with a single boat offering island tours. Then came the boat house, and over time, Trasmer grew into a known name in Rodrigues for its island excursions and authentic local grilled cuisine.

Trasmer offers excursion trips with a variety of packages, including visits to ĂŽle aux Chats and ĂŽle Hermitage, along with other exciting water activities and delicious local food. While visiting the islets, you can personalize your trip and enjoy:

All excursions are accompanied by the lovely guide Danielle, who will make you feel welcome.  You will enjoy the freshly grilled fish, chicken, sausages, and mixed seafood salad with papaya and even locally made desserts. To keep it truly Rodrigues-style, Trasmer  also serve homemade punch and fresh fruit drinks.

Beachfront Dining and Signature Dishes
At Trasmer, you will enjoy a true islet experience with locals. The excursion packages can match your preferences. Trasmer also has a beachfront dining area, where their signature dish is freshly grilled lobster.
Opt for the most liked excursion package, a full-day adventure visiting ĂŽle aux Chats and ĂŽle Hermitage, complete with a delicious BBQ.
During the trip, you can snorkel at Couzoupa, a breathtaking natural aquarium known for its rich marine life.
If you do not have your own mask, snorkel, or fins, Transmer have them available for rent.
You will always be accompanied by Tramser Boating experienced team and guide.
If you wish to try lagoon fishing on the way to the islets, simply let Transmer know in advance, and they will include it in your experience.
A Typical Day will be
- Reservation confirmed: You have already booked your spot.
- 9:00 a.m. – Arrival at the meeting point in Songes (see Google Map at the end of the page).
- 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Departure towards Couzoupa, the natural aquarium. Enjoy snorkeling and discover the incredible diversity of marine life.
- 11:00 a.m. – Arrival at Île aux Chats. Relax, swim in crystal-clear waters, and take in the island’s beauty.
- 12:00 p.m. – Time to savour a freshly grilled BBQ lunch prepared by our team.
- 1:30 p.m. – Head to Île Hermitage for a guided walk. For those who wish, a small hike to the top offers spectacular photo opportunities.
- After that, enjoy more time to swim, unwind, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before returning to the shore.Every trip can be personalized, you can opt for a private boat tour or eating at the open-air dining area at the boathouse. Charly Emilien will be happy to guide you through all the available options.
A full-day adventure visiting Île aux Chats and Île Hermitage – same as option one but without BBQ.
Every trip can be personalized. Some guests even fish during there trip and we come at the shore to grilled the fish for them which is an amazing experience.

Yes, we have our Safety and Maintenance Officer, Christiano, who ensures that you are always safe during your trips with us.
Our boats are well maintained, and we operate with three boats to guarantee both comfort and safety.
Each passenger is provided with a life jacket during the trip, and every boat is equipped with life buoys.
On the islets, you will always be accompanied by your guide Danielle and the team.Â
Bring your sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and swimming gear.
If you plan to snorkel, you can bring your own equipment, or rent masks, snorkels, and fins from us.
And of course, bring your phone or camera to capture beautiful memories of your trip!
Yes. If weather conditions aren’t safe, we will let you know in advanced. You can decide to  reschedule.
